Under the direction of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Business Forum Magazine coordinated with relevant agencies to organize the Forum with the hope of finding solutions to make dual transformation truly the key for businesses to develop rapidly and sustainably.
Attending the program, on the side of the Central leaders and local departments and branches, there were Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien - Director of the Department of Science and Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation under the Central Policy and Strategy Committee; Mr. Pham Hong Quat - Director of the Department of Startups and Technology Enterprises under the Ministry of Science and Technology ; Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City. On the side of MISA, there was the participation of Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of MISA Dinh Thi Thuy, Director of the MISA Institute of Business Innovation Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ha.
At the Discussion session “Dual transformation – Policy and practice”, Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy – Vice Chairwoman of MISA Board of Directors shared: “Dual transformation is contributing to promoting economic growth. From the perspective of state management agencies, Resolution No. 57 and Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo have created great motivation for enterprises to apply science and technology, innovate, and digital transformation. Currently, the issue that enterprises are most concerned about is policy implementation. Decrees and circulars institutionalizing major policies from the “Strategic Quartet” contribute to solving enterprises’ difficulties, unlocking resources, and creating an environment for enterprises to proactively innovate”.
For businesses, it is important to change awareness, leadership thinking and corporate culture. Digital transformation requires financial transparency and compliance with legal regulations; green transformation requires long-term investment, Ms. Thuy emphasized.
Also at the Forum, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ha - Director of the MISA Institute for Business Innovation said that most businesses are currently only at the stage of individual digital transformation, lacking the integration between digital transformation and green transformation to create sustainable value. From there, she shared Make in VietNam solutions to accompany businesses in comprehensively digitizing operations, data transparency, and optimizing operations.
However, in the process of implementing dual transformation, many businesses – especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are facing many obstacles. First is the cost of investment and access to capital, when businesses need significant resources for digital technology – green technology but lack transparent data to meet green loan standards. Next is the lack of awareness and human resources, so many businesses still consider digitalization and greening as two separate directions, while digitalization is the foundation to achieve green development goals. In addition, the lack of integrated technology solutions, suitable for the scale and characteristics of Vietnamese businesses, also makes the implementation of dual transformation face many limitations.
To successfully digitize and green, businesses need to start by building a unified digital data platform. When data is transparent and connected, businesses will easily measure, optimize and move towards green operations. From there, the digital ecosystem developed by MISA plays a key role in helping businesses form a unified data flow, automate processes and realize the goal of green and sustainable development.
Accordingly, the MISA AMIS unified enterprise management platform helps digitize all internal processes, forming a unified data flow between departments such as finance, accounting, human resources, sales and operations. Thanks to that, businesses can make data transparent, analyze costs, control performance and reduce resource waste, creating the premise for green operations.
Through the MISA AI Hub platform and the unified AI platform MISA AMIS OneAI is applied to each job position from accounting, tax, sales to customer care to help automate tasks, improve productivity, and reduce energy consumption, time and operating costs. This is a form of "greening" from within, through more efficient and economical operations.
In addition, the MISA Lending business loan connection platform helps units digitize financial records, connect unsecured loans based on accounting data, electronic invoices and transparent documents. Thanks to that, businesses can easily access green capital sources, removing one of the biggest barriers that the SME sector is facing in the dual transformation journey.
With the mission of serving society through excellent Make in VietNam solutions, MISA is committed to accompanying the business community in comprehensive digitalization, building a green, economical and sustainable operating model, contributing to the goal of developing a green economy - digital economy of the country.
