Vietjet orders 100 Airbus A321neo aircraft, marking a new milestone in Vietnam-UK cooperation

On October 30, 2025, the signing ceremony took place within the framework of General Secretary To Lam's official visit to the UK, a historic event when the two countries upgraded their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, opening a period of extensive cooperation in the fields of aviation, technology and investment.

The order will create hundreds of thousands of jobs in the UK and Europe, while helping Vietjet modernize its fleet, reduce emissions, and expand its international flight network, towards its global Net Zero goal.

Following a formal signing ceremony at the UK Foreign Office, Vietjet and Airbus officially awarded the contract for 100 A321neo aircraft in the presence of General Secretary To Lam, Vietnamese leaders and Mr. Matt Western, Special Envoy of the UK Prime Minister, at the Vietnam - UK Economic Summit.
