Program "Pride of Son La Youth"

Attending the program were leaders of the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial Military Command; former officers who were standing members of the Provincial Youth Union Committee through the periods, representatives of the Liaison Board of former officials of the Son La Provincial Youth Union and its affiliated unions.

At the program, the delegates reviewed the 69-year tradition of building, developing and maturing of the Vietnam Youth Union. Under the leadership of the Party and the core role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Union has become a broad social organization of youth at home and abroad. In the process of development, the Vietnam Youth Union of Son La province has always made constant efforts to strengthen the organization and implement many good models and practical movements, expand solidarity, gather and encourage young people to compete in studying, starting a business, contributing to building and defending the Fatherland.

Representatives of the Liaison Committee of Former Officials of the Son La Provincial Youth Union presented flowers to congratulate the Vietnam Youth Union of the province.

Currently, the Association has 75 commune and ward level associations, 5 affiliated units with more than 76,000 members. From 2024 to now, it has built 5 schools, built 44 new charity houses, 5 bridges for people, concretized 3km of roads, 28 toilets for children... The Association has awarded thousands of gifts and scholarships; maintained regular activities of 128 volunteer teams participating in environmental protection, landscape, and urban order maintenance. Posted 7,200 good news, beautiful stories were propagated on social networking sites. Supported the realization of 31 startup ideas; career counseling for more than 13,200 union members...

The Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals.

With the motto "Son La Youth Pioneer - Volunteer - Creative - Development", the Provincial Youth Union continues to innovate content and methods, improve the quality of activities, and nurture a generation of Son La youth with revolutionary ideals and patriotism. Effectively implement 10 targets of the resolution of the 6th Provincial Youth Union Congress, term 2024-2029. Thereby, creating an environment and conditions for youth to practice, promote the advantages of youth, contributing with the Party Committee, government and people to build a developed and prosperous Son La.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union presented gifts to former members of the Provincial Youth Union Committee through the periods. Commendation of 15 individuals who are key union officials, union officials at the grassroots level and above, outstanding youths of clubs, teams, and groups under the Provincial Youth Union Committee with outstanding achievements in implementing the Union movements; Certificates of merit were awarded to 1 collective and 2 individuals who won second prize at the final round of the "Son La Province Youth Singing and Dance Groups" Contest in 2025.
