This project was initiated and conceptualized by beauty expert Quan Nguyen - Pu Le. The team took 2 weeks to complete.

Mr. Quan Nguyen shared with Tuoi Tre Online that he and his team visited the homes of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in districts and towns in Ho Chi Minh City to visit and give gifts.

At each destination, Quan Nguyen - Pu Le and the team asked for permission from the families to take artistic portraits of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers to give to the families.

Of the 57 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers we met, 40 agreed to take photos.

With the consent of the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, the crew immediately set up a makeshift studio to capture the most beautiful moments of the mothers.

Quan Nguyen - Pu Le and other students take on the role of beautifying the mothers, combing their hair, adding a little lipstick, light makeup, and taking care of their clothes so that the mothers can have the most beautiful photos.

"We don't change mothers, we just enhance their inherent beauty - simple, honest and emotional" - makeup artist Quan Nguyen said emotionally.

Photographer Milor Tran took on the role of taking photos for the mothers. Milor Tran chose a minimalist gray background and soft lighting to highlight the gentle faces, preserving the memories and indomitable spirit of the previous generation.

Even though they are silent witnesses, witnessing many hardships or wrinkles imprinted by time, their eyes and smiles are very gentle and kind.

The moments captured by photographer Milor Tran received sympathy and support from the audience.

Milor Tran said he was honored to be invited to accompany the project, this was his way of showing gratitude to previous generations.

Pu Le said the project is part of a series of community activities that he and Quan Nguyen have maintained over the years.

"We feel happy to undertake such a meaningful journey, to personally take care of mothers, and to contribute to preserving the beauty and indomitable spirit of mothers through images," Pu Le added.

The Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union has selected 38 photos of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the project initiated by Quan Nguyen - Pu Le, to include in the photo exhibition "The Beauty of Vietnamese and Belarusian Women " at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street.

According to the organizers, the exhibition displays 20 photos of Belarusian women, 23 photos of Vietnamese women and 38 images of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

The exhibition helps the people of Vietnam and Belarus better understand the culture, country and people of the two countries.

The exhibition will run until May 1.
