Special train runs 3km in Hanoi, passengers can listen to music and singing on the train

(Dan Tri) - On the special train called "Heritage Journey" connecting heritage sites on both sides of the Red River, visitors have the opportunity to experience live art activities on the train cars.

On the evening of November 17, a special train within the framework of the activities of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 named "Heritage Journey" officially rolled out from Long Bien station (Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi).

This is the train serving the first tourists to experience the festival with the journey from Long Bien station to Gia Lam station, across the historic Long Bien bridge.

At exactly 7:05 p.m., train LH1 departed from Long Bien station, carrying delegates and guests to Gia Lam station, where the opening ceremony of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 will take place.

Each train has 5 passenger cars (about 280 seats) and 2 art exhibition cars, the number of seats can be increased depending on customer demand.

Many tourists, including foreign tourists, were excited to experience the special train ride with a distance of only about 3km.

The ship will display works from the exhibition "Peripheral Movement #2" with works permanently attached to the glass of the ship's windows. Viewers will be able to view unique visual art works through the creation of an exhibition space that emphasizes the correlation between urban mobility and artistic thought.

Another special feature that leaves an impression on any tourist when boarding the train is experiencing live music in the train cars.

The musical performances were performed with the instruments and voices of the artists with familiar songs, with both modern and folk influences. Many tourists were excited to watch this new activity.

"This is the first time I have been on a train and watched live music performances on the train, something completely new and will leave an impression on everyone," said Mr. Trung, one of the first tourists to experience the heritage train.

After 10 minutes of traveling from Long Bien station, the train stopped at Gia Lam station. Here, the delegates will move to Gia Lam Railway Factory to attend the opening ceremony and experience the following activities.

The heritage train will take passengers from Hanoi Station to Gia Lam Railway Factory to participate in the Design and Creativity Festival from November 18 to 26.

The railway industry will organize two separate trains named Heritage Journey from Hanoi station through Long Bien station to Gia Lam station, departing at 8:00 and 13:20, and the opposite direction from Gia Lam station at 10:50 and 16:00. Tickets cost 20,000 VND each way. The train consists of 3 carriages, specially designed and artistically decorated. On board, there are many artists performing musical acts.

From Gia Lam Station, visitors can walk to Gia Lam Railway Factory - where the Hanoi Design and Creativity Festival is held, visit many architectural works and Tu Luc steam locomotive, a symbol of the railway industry.
