The bus, named Bus to London, is scheduled to leave Istanbul - Türkiye's largest city on August 7, taking up to 30 passengers through 22 countries including some in the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Western Europe and arriving in the British capital London on October 1, ending a 56-day journey.
Some interesting highlights on this 12,000km journey include the ferry crossing the Gulf of Finland, visiting the North Cape - the northernmost point of mainland Europe or crossing the Norwegian fjords.

According to CNN, after its launch, Bus to London will become the longest bus trip in the world . According to Guinness World Records, the longest bus trip in the world currently has a distance of 6,200km, connecting Lima, Peru with Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The total cost of this 56-day trip is $24,300 per person, including 3 meals per day and hotel room rental fees.
Although the idea of a two-month bus ride may seem daunting to many, Adventures Overland advertises that the journey will be made on a specially designed luxury bus designed for long-distance travel.
Accordingly, each passenger will sit on an easily adjustable recliner with a USB port to connect entertainment devices. The legroom in each row is also quite spacious, allowing passengers to rest comfortably. Each passenger is allowed to bring 2 large suitcases.

Adventures Overland, founded in 2012 by entrepreneurs Tushar Agarwal and Sanjay Madan, specialises in organising expeditions from India to London where passengers bring their own vehicles and travel in groups.
The company also organizes trips across Iceland and Russia.
In a statement, Mr Agarwal said the route for each country on the Bus to London journey has been carefully planned to ensure a smooth journey. The company will take care of all paperwork, visas, permits and passengers can just enjoy the journey.
