On the evening of June 23, Quang Ninh Club held a celebration ceremony to honor its achievement of winning the right to be promoted to the national first division in 2025.

At the ceremony, the Quang Ninh Club's leadership awarded 1 billion VND for the achievements of the coaching staff and players of the team.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province awarded a certificate of merit for the achievement of winning first place in the 2025 national second division. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province awarded certificates of merit to outstanding individuals of the Club.

At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh - Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee congratulated the team on their success. Ms. Hanh highly appreciated the efforts of the leaders, coaching staff and players of Quang Ninh Club.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh also said: “In order for a football team to operate, in addition to the efforts and will of the coach and players, many other conditions are needed. What are those conditions? I would like to request the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh to soon complete the project to develop a professional football team and a youth football project.

The youth team will be managed by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh, the big football team will be the source of support for the youth team. The department is requested to soon complete 2 projects, in which it will develop a plan, what are the conditions to ensure, and the resources mobilized for the football team.

I will arrange a meeting with the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, preside over and work with the Club and related departments, including inviting the Provincial Business Association to contribute to our team, and have a long-term strategy so that every year we can have a celebration like this."

In addition, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh requested the leaders of Cam Pha City and the Department of Staff to promptly hand over the facilities of the old football team, Cam Pha Stadium, to Quang Ninh Football Club.

On the club's side, Chairman Ha Tuan Dung expressed his emotion at the team's efforts, especially the comeback in the final match against PVF to win first place in Group A.

Mr. Ha Tuan Dung expressed his gratitude to the provincial leaders, fans, and media agencies that have accompanied the team over the past time.

In the 2025 national second division, Quang Ninh Club excellently topped Group A with an unbeaten record. The team won 8 matches and drew 2 matches. This unbeaten record continued from the 2024 third division season. In less than 1 year, Quang Ninh Club was promoted 2 consecutive divisions to return to the Vietnamese professional football system.

With the achievement of being promoted to the first division, Quang Ninh team was awarded 250 million VND by the Vietnam Football Federation.
