At around 10:30 p.m. in front of Trang Tien Plaza shopping center, thousands of people carried national flags and trumpets to celebrate Vietnam's victory over Thailand.

Fans cheered, blew horns, waved flags and shouted “Vietnam is the champion” to give the Vietnamese team more strength before the upcoming second leg of the final in Thailand.

On the streets around Hoan Kiem Lake, fans also brought flares to light up the streets.

Fans excitedly greeted each other and shouted "Vietnam is the champion".

At around 10:45 p.m., the streets around Hoan Kiem Lake were jammed and impassable.

At around 11pm in front of Ngoc Son Temple gate, the red flag with yellow star fluttered to the excited cheers of fans.

Near Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, flares continued to be set off.

Many foreigners excitedly used their phones to record the moment Vietnamese fans celebrated the victory.
