Responding to the 2025 theme "Promoting the role of women in participating in building a clean and strong Party and political system, ready to enter a new era, an era of national growth", the Women's Unions at all levels in the Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces have been implementing many practical and meaningful programs.
Practical activities
At the conference to review the emulation work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2025 of the emulation cluster, representatives of the Women's Unions of provinces and cities in the region shared many practical activities related to this content.
The consistent spirit is the determination to effectively implement the annual theme "Promoting the role of women in participating in building a clean and strong Party and political system, ready to enter a new era, an era of national growth". In conjunction with emulation movements and key tasks, the provincial Women's Unions have implemented many specific and creative activities, contributing to clearly demonstrating the role and responsibility of women in building the Party, government and political system from the grassroots.
In Dak Nong , one of the key contents chosen is to develop the Party in the force of women's association leaders at the grassroots level. President of the Dak Nong Provincial Women's Union H'Vi EBan emphasized: We clearly identify this as the core force, if they do not have enough political awareness, skills, and courage, it will be difficult to lead the women's movement in the right direction. Therefore, the Dak Nong Provincial Women's Union organized a thematic workshop with the participation of 144 delegates to find feasible solutions to increase the rate of association leaders admitted to the Party in the context of streamlining the organizational apparatus.
Appreciating the outstanding results and praising the proactive, creative and highly responsible spirit of the Women's Union at all levels in organizing activities related to the local political tasks in the first 6 months of the year, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union Tran Lan Phuong requested that the Women's Union at all levels continue to seriously and effectively implement the resolutions, projects and plans of the Party and State, especially in the process of arranging administrative units and building two-level local governments.
For Phu Yen , capacity building for female elected representatives is identified as a priority task. Within the framework of the project to promote gender equality and enhance the role of female elected representatives in political work, the Provincial Women's Union has coordinated to organize 4 training courses for more than 210 female National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels and female commune-level cadres, providing knowledge on the application of artificial intelligence (AI), ChatGPT in work, and securing personal data when working online. In addition, the activities of the Women's National Assembly and People's Council Club and the forum "Higher-level union officials ask, female union officials and members answer" have created opportunities for women to listen, share, and strengthen democracy in union activities.
In Gia Lai, the provincial Women's Union has paid special attention to monitoring, social criticism and organizing policy dialogues. The unions at all levels have proactively contributed comments on Party congress documents, monitored the program to prevent domestic violence and control gender imbalance at birth, and organized dialogue conferences with the Provincial Party Committee leaders to propose policies to support vulnerable women, provide health care, promote digital transformation and ensure gender equality.
In Dak Lak, the Provincial Women's Union organized three thematic conferences on promoting the role of women in Party building, preserving the cultural identity of the Central Highlands, and grasping the thoughts of its members. Thereby, improving the capacity of union officials in orienting public opinion, resolving "hot spots" and spreading the image of Central Highlands women in the integration period.
In addition, many other provinces also achieved outstanding results: Khanh Hoa with 100% of grassroots associations implementing the annual theme, focusing on social criticism and contributing ideas to Party congress documents; Quang Ngai with nearly 450,000 people accessing information on gender equality; Quang Nam organized more than 350 thematic meetings, implementing the movement to build the image of women in the new era... These results not only demonstrate the flexibility and creativity of associations at all levels but also affirm the increasingly clear role and voice of women in the process of building a strong Party, government and political system in the locality.
Sharing about the significance of the conference to review the emulation clusters, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Phu Yen province Nguyen Thi Hong Thai said that this conference is not only an opportunity for representatives of provincial leaders to review the results of the first 6 months of the year, but also a valuable opportunity to exchange, learn, and share good experiences and creative ways of doing things. This is also an opportunity to further strengthen the coordination relationship and spread effective models in implementing the annual theme.
Affirming the role and position of the association

“This is an important stage, requiring the synchronous and proactive participation of many forces, including the Women's Union. Unions at all levels need to carefully study the guidelines related to the organization of the apparatus and Party organization in accordance with the new administrative unit; proactively grasp the thoughts and feelings of cadres and members, especially the grassroots cadres in the context of streamlining and merging organizations to propose appropriate policies and regimes. Thereby, continuing to affirm the role and position of the union organization in the work of building the Party, government and the great national unity bloc; continuing to organize and implement well the emulation movement to build Vietnamese women of the new era with specific criteria: having knowledge, having morality, having health, having responsibility for themselves, their families, society and the country”, Ms. Tran Lan Phuong emphasized.
