Round 11 is also the final round of Olympiad 2024, the Vietnamese chess team will face Canada. This is a formality match as both teams no longer have a chance to compete for a medal. In this round, Le Quang Liem did not compete and the person given the opportunity to replace his senior is the 15-year-old player Bang Gia Huy (elo 2425). Gia Huy's opponent is Razvan Preotu (elo 2451). Although 10 years younger than his opponent, Gia Huy had a good match and won the match after 70 moves. Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son (elo 2633) also had a draw against Shawn Rodrique-Lemieux (elo 2509). In this round, Le Tuan Minh (elo 2564) continued to show his excellent form at Olympiad 2024 when he won another victory against Raja Panjwani (elo 2460). Le Tuan Minh is a player of the Vietnamese men's chess team who competed in all 11 rounds, achieving an impressive record of 7 wins and 4 draws. Based on the scoring method of the 2024 Olympiad, Le Tuan Minh officially won the individual bronze medal.
Also in this round, Tran Tuan Minh (elo 2434) lost to Shiyam Thavandiran (elo 2388). Therefore, the Vietnamese chess team could only draw 2-2 with Canada. With 14 points, the Vietnamese male players ranked 25th overall. In the women's group, the Vietnamese girls lost 0.5 - 3.5 to strong opponent China. They also won 14 points and ranked 23rd overall. The champion team in the men's and women's groups of the 2024 Olympiad is India.
