The program is directed by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, chaired by the Department of Education and Training in coordination with the Vietnam Vovinam Federation, and accompanied by Nestlé Milo. This is one of the meaningful activities within the framework of the Festival "50 years of educational innovation: Marks of the times - Aspirations for the future".

As a national intangible cultural heritage, Vovinam was chosen because of its suitability to the physical condition of Vietnamese students and the unique values of Vietnamese martial arts - martial arts, bravery, discipline and national pride. Training and performing together gives students the opportunity to improve their health, promote team spirit, will, courage and confidence, the core qualities of a dynamic young generation, ready to integrate globally.

At Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted (Cho Quan Ward), more than 400 students enthusiastically practiced to participate in the performance. Ms. Pham Thi Be Hien, Principal of the school, said that this is a meaningful activity during the school year and an opportunity for students to feel the cultural value of the national martial art.
“We hope that you will not only participate to set a record, but also be proud to contribute to promoting Vovinam to the world . Through each movement, you will feel more deeply the spirit of Vietnamese martial arts and the value of solidarity,” Ms. Hien emphasized.

At Nguyen Anh Thu Secondary School (Dong Hung Thuan Ward), about 400 students also participated in the performance, demonstrating their enthusiasm in responding to the school sports movement. The school representative said that the students practiced seriously and proactively, considering this a memorable event, contributing to creating an impression for the 2025 school year.

Previously, on the morning of November 30, the Vovinam martial arts performance program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh City Education sector took place with the participation of 60,000 students, of which 5,000 students performed live at Saigon Riverside Park (An Khanh Ward) and 55,000 students from more than 150 schools participated online.

The World Records Union - WorldKings and the Vietnam Records Organization - VietKings have awarded world record and Vietnam record certificates to the live and online performance program with the largest number of student participants.
The concert event on the morning of December 1 is expected to not only set a new record but also become a symbol of the spirit of school sports in Ho Chi Minh City, where collective strength, will, discipline and national pride are fostered to build a generation of well-rounded, healthy and ambitious students for the future.
