Da Nang mobilizes troops to build houses to help people in flood-hit Dak Lak

On December 1, the Da Nang City Military Command held a ceremony to mobilize forces to support Dak Lak province in overcoming the consequences of floods and storms, and in building and repairing houses for thousands of affected households.

Accordingly, nearly 100 officers and soldiers with expertise in construction works were mobilized. The force was required to ensure discipline, proactively overcome difficulties, and shorten the time to complete support items and repair houses for people in Dak Lak province before Tet.

At the departure ceremony, Colonel Tran Huu Ich, Commander of the Da Nang City Military Command, emphasized that this is a sacred mission with profound humanity. He required all officers and soldiers to demonstrate a spirit of speed, mobility and quickly carry out the mission, overcoming all difficulties in weather and terrain.

At the same time, the Commander of the Da Nang City Military Command noted that when carrying out their tasks, the force must help the people effectively, not cause more trouble or difficulties for the people, and properly implement the motto "wherever there are difficulties, there are soldiers". Officers and soldiers must uphold the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, discipline and creativity in their work, proactively organize the construction of housing projects to ensure solidity, durability and on schedule.

“Every action of the army must reflect the qualities of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers”, so that people can feel the dedication, loyalty and prestige of the city’s armed forces. The goal is to complete and hand over housing before January 20, 2026, ensuring that all households have a safe roof to welcome Tet,” Colonel Tran Huu Ich requested.
