Accordingly, in Da Lat City, Lam Dong Provincial Police coordinated with Binh Thuan Provincial Police and Dak Nong Provincial Police to organize a working session to unify key contents related to the merger of the Public Security organizations of the three provinces, according to Resolution 60-NQ/TW dated April 12, 2025 of the 13th Party Central Committee, Plan 47-KH-BCĐ of the Central Steering Committee, and Decision 759/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units.

The meeting was co-chaired by Colonel Truong Minh Duong - Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police, Colonel Tran Van Muoi - Deputy Director of Binh Thuan Provincial Police and Colonel Nguyen Tuong Vu - Deputy Director of Dak Nong Provincial Police. Also attending were representatives of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Board of Directors, and leaders of several functional departments of the 3 provincial police.

At the conference, delegates discussed proposed coordination plans to thoroughly prepare for the new police apparatus, ensuring effective operation immediately after the merger.
The functional departments are assigned to review all professional work, make a handover list, count assets, and prepare a plan to receive the task when there is an official decision from the Ministry of Public Security. The Board of Directors and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Public Security of the 3 provinces commit to closely direct, not allowing any gaps in management, operation, or affecting the security and order of the area.

An important content agreed upon is to prepare for the new Provincial Police Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Units will coordinate to develop personnel plans, congress documents, and complete Party committees according to the guidance of the Ministry of Public Security and the Central Organizing Committee. This is the foundation for the new Police apparatus to operate stably, meeting the requirements of security and order management in a large area, with increasingly complex population and tasks.

The meeting took place in a responsible and urgent atmosphere, with high consensus among the Public Security of the three provinces. The merger was carried out methodically and cautiously, but still flexibly, closely following the characteristics of each locality. The consistent spirit was "not to interrupt tasks, not to slow down progress, not to affect the interests of the people".
The formation of the Public Security organization according to new administrative units is an important step, demonstrating the determination of the Party and State in streamlining the apparatus and improving operational efficiency. The Public Security of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, and Dak Nong are working closely to ensure the merger process goes smoothly, creating a premise for the sustainable development of the Public Security force in the new period.
