Lao Cai police bring clean water to children in the highlands

The Investigation Security Department, Lao Cai Provincial Police, has just coordinated with the Club "Standing Firmly Together with You" (Hanoi), Hong Ngoc Kindergarten and Ta Xi Lang Commune Police to complete and put into operation the model "Clean water accompanies me to school" at Chong Chua school (Ta Xi Lang commune) before the new school year.

The Investigation Security Department, Lao Cai Provincial Police handed over the clean water project to Chong Chua school.

Ta Xi Lang commune is a remote, extremely difficult area of ​​Lao Cai province with more than 99% of Mong ethnic people living there. Chong Chua school is located on a high mountain top, with difficult terrain and scarce water resources. Currently, there are 70 Mong ethnic students studying here.

The rugged roads make transporting raw materials extremely difficult.

Understanding the difficulties and hardships of students and teachers at this school, the Investigation Security Department, Lao Cai Provincial Police has deployed the model "Clean water accompanies children to school". In 2 days, the police force, teachers of Hong Ngoc Kindergarten and local people found a new water source and installed a pipeline of more than 3 km from the source to the school.

Along with the construction and installation of water pipes, the Investigation Security Department, Lao Cai Provincial Police and the Club "Standing Strongly Together" also donated many practical equipment and supplies to the school such as washing machines, hot and cold water filters, filters, clothes, toys, warm blankets, candy... with a total value of nearly 70 million VND.

Clean water and meaningful gifts came to teachers and students at the school right before the new school year.

The completion and handover of the model "Clean water accompanies children to school" before the new school year has a very practical meaning, bringing clean water and better living conditions to teachers and students at the school.

This activity received high appreciation from local people, teachers, parents and authorities, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of Lao Cai police officers "Serving the people".

Despite many difficulties due to the terrain, thanks to the coordination of the school, police force and local people, after 2 days the water line was brought back to the school.
