Police are opening a case to prosecute the parent who stormed into the classroom and assaulted a student.

On September 29th, the leaders of Tan Thanh Ward Police Station, Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province, announced that regarding the incident where a parent stormed into a classroom and assaulted an 8th-grade student at Nguyen Du Secondary School, the police have summoned the man for questioning.

During the meeting, this parent admitted that hitting the student was wrong. The families of the two students who were hit did not request any disciplinary action; however, the police are still processing the case according to regulations.

According to the police chief of the ward, the students who were beaten sustained no injuries. Their families signed confirmations stating that they were not injured, and they did not file any complaints, lawsuits, or request prosecution or injury assessment.

The children's bodies were examined for any signs of injury, and there were no indications of childhood trauma.

The families of the two students who were beaten also acknowledged that their children were in the wrong, having hit the other parent's child first. The other parent was also upset because their child had a black eye from the beating.

The families of the two children requested that no action be taken against the male parent. "However, his behavior is unacceptable, so he must still be dealt with according to the law," said the head of the ward's police station.

The Tan Thanh Ward Police are consolidating the case file to advise the Tam Ky Police on how to handle the matter, taking action accordingly. It is likely they will recommend administrative penalties for violations of security and order against the parents in question.

The parents admitted their mistake and apologized.

According to a report from Nguyen Du Secondary School sent to the Department of Education and Training, the People's Committee of Tam Ky City, and the Tan Thanh Ward Police, at 1:15 PM on September 24th, Mr. HVL (parent of student B., class 8/11) arbitrarily entered the school and assaulted a student.

On the morning of the same day, the school organized a football tournament as part of the Phu Dong Sports Festival at the school level for the academic year between classes 8/9 and 8/11. The match proceeded normally, and class 8/11 won.

In the early afternoon of the same day, B. (a student in class 8/11) teased and provoked T. and H. (students in class 8/9), so the two students chased and beat B., causing swelling in his left eye.

When the teacher entered the classroom, she noticed that student B.'s eye was swollen, so she told the student to ask her parents to take her to the hospital for a check-up.

B. asked permission to go see the security guard on duty and requested that he call his father to take him to the hospital for a check-up. After the examination, B.'s parents took him to school as usual that afternoon.

However, enraged by his child's black eye, Mr. L. unexpectedly returned and stormed into class 8/9, attacking two students, T. and H.

The incident happened so quickly that the security guards couldn't intervene in time, and the homeroom teacher of class 8/9 also asked the parents to calm down, but couldn't stop them. After the assault, the parents left.

Afterward, the homeroom teacher asked the three students to write self-criticism reports, and the school invited the parents and students to a meeting.

During the meeting on the morning of September 25th, the school asked the students to recount the incident. They admitted their mistakes and promised not to repeat them.

The school listened to the opinions of the three parents involved. Mr. L. (parent of student B.) admitted his mistake and apologized to the school, apologized to the two parents whose children were beaten, and asked for forgiveness.

The two parents whose children were assaulted by Mr. L. also acknowledged that their children's actions were wrong and promised to educate their children, accepting the apology from B.'s parents.
