Deputy Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung requested that the communal police force must maintain the style of being close to the people, closely following the grassroots, listening to people's opinions to promptly advise and resolve newly emerging issues.

On the morning of November 10, during the working program in Lam Dong province , Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security and the working delegation visited and worked at Hiep Thanh Commune Police.

Reporting to the working delegation, Lieutenant Colonel Phan Huu Son, Head of Hiep Thanh Commune Police, said that recently, the unit has strictly maintained the on-duty regime, closely followed the area, promptly advised the Party Committee and authorities to synchronously deploy measures to ensure security and order.

The commune police proactively grasped the situation and strengthened crime prevention right from the grassroots level; all violations were detected and thoroughly handled. Thereby, crimes against social order decreased by nearly 32% compared to the same period in 2024.

Activities of residence management and administrative procedure settlement are carried out in accordance with regulations, ensuring publicity, transparency, and convenience for people; measures to ensure traffic order and safety, fire prevention and fighting are strengthened; the movement of the entire people to protect national security and self-management and self-defense models in the area are consolidated and expanded, contributing to maintaining stability in security and order at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hiep Thanh Commune Le Nguyen Hoang affirmed that the Party Committee of the commune will continue to lead and direct the commune police force to promote the achieved results, proactively and comprehensively deploy all aspects of work, contributing to maintaining security and order , serving the socio-economic development tasks of the locality.

Deputy Minister Pham The Tung highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and efforts of the Hiep Thanh Commune Police in recent times, and emphasized that maintaining security and order at the grassroots level requires the commune police force to be truly proactive, courageous and flexible in handling daily work.

Commune police are the front line, directly contacting and resolving most of the incidents arising in people's lives.

Therefore, officers and soldiers must regularly practice their skills, grasp the law, improve their situation handling skills and ability to assess and forecast situations.

Early detection of signs of conflict and complex factors in security and order is decisive in prevention work, avoiding passivity and surprise.

Deputy Minister Pham The Tung requested that the communal police force must maintain the style of being close to the people, closely following the grassroots, listening to people's opinions to promptly advise and resolve newly emerging issues, at the same time, continue to improve the quality of advising Party committees and authorities; maintain effective crime prevention measures; promptly handle incidents related to security and order right at the grassroots level.

The Deputy Minister of Public Security noted that Hiep Thanh Commune Police continue to focus on Party building, strengthen internal inspection and supervision; tighten discipline; ensure that each officer and soldier is exemplary in implementing regulations, etiquette, and manners; coordinate well with departments, branches, unions and core forces at the grassroots level to promote combined strength in maintaining security and order.

Deputy Minister Pham The Tung requested Lam Dong Provincial Police and local Party committees and authorities to continue to pay attention to and support the communal police force in terms of facilities, equipment, and means of service, ensuring conditions for the unit to successfully complete assigned tasks, meeting the requirements of protecting security and order in the new situation.
