Specifically, in December 2023, 98 websites were added to the Black List, bringing the total number of illegal websites in 2023 to 403.

In the list of nearly 100 websites that have just been added to the list of law violations by the Ministry of Information and Communications, we can mention a few names such as 1*bet.com, 1*bet88vn.net, thethao**.org, fb88***.com or king368*.com.

These are all websites that provide advertising content for betting, illegal electronic games of a gambling nature, and prize exchange... based on the results of screening, statistics, and evaluation by the Department of Broadcasting and Electronic Information.

Previously, in 2022, the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information announced three times websites with signs of violating the law. The total number of websites violating the law that the Ministry of Information and Communications announced in 2022 was 171 pages.

Not only announcing a list of websites that violate the law, in March 2023, the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information for the first time announced a list of "verified" content on the network (abbreviated as White List).

The Department has also sent an official dispatch to advertising service businesses in Vietnam and Vietnamese brands and businesses with advertising activities. Accordingly, the Ministry of Information and Communications recommends that businesses consider choosing to advertise on the White List to ensure brand safety, contributing to the development of a safe and healthy Vietnamese advertising and digital content ecosystem.

The introduction of the White List and Black List is one of the solutions proposed by the Ministry of Information and Communications to strengthen the management of advertising activities on the Internet in Vietnam.
