Announcing the official song of SEA Games 31

(NLDO) - The song "Let's Shine" by musician Huy Tuan has been chosen as the official song of the 31st Southeast Asian Games - SEA Games.

On March 20, at the National Sports Training Center in Hanoi, the General Department of Sports and Physical Training (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) organized the program "Glory of Vietnamese Sports" and the award ceremony for outstanding coaches, athletes and excellent athletes and coaches of disabled sports in 2021.

The song "Let's Shine" by musician Huy Tuan has been chosen as the official song of the 31st Southeast Asian Games - SEA Games.

Also at the program, the Organizing Committee (OC) announced the SEA Games 31 song titled "Let's shine" by musician Huy Tuan. Singers Tung Duong and Van Mai Huong performed on stage.

The 31st SEA Games will take place from May 12 to 23 in Hanoi and 11 neighboring provinces and cities with the participation of more than 7,000 athletes from 11 countries in the Southeast Asian region. The athletes will compete in 40 events and 526 sets of medals.

According to the assessment of the 31st SEA Games Organizing Committee, the content of the song "Let's Shine" expresses heroic spirit, pride in the country, cultural identity, and Vietnamese people, promoting sportsmanship, glory, and relentless efforts to achieve the highest achievements.

At the same time, the song also expressed pride in the country and people of Vietnam through the spirit of sportsmanship with international friends. According to the organizers, the lyrics are concise, the message is clear, the melody is modern, cheerful, vibrant, and strong, in line with the slogan of SEA Games 31 - For a stronger Southeast Asia.

Musician Huy Tuan shared that he was very proud that his work was selected from hundreds of entries submitted to the Organizing Committee. "For me, this is the proudest moment, a milestone in about 30 years of my career. I hope the song will be well received by people at home and abroad. This is a gift for the athletes as a wish for the highest achievements" - the musician confided.

In the demo, musician Huy Tuan chose Tung Duong as the singer to perform. It is known that the official song will be recorded by singer Tung Duong and some other vocalists.
