On the morning of December 1, the final round and award ceremony of the 2025 National VMoot Moot Court Competition (VMoot 2025) took place at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law. This is an important event that concludes the nearly 3-month competition journey of law students from more than 40 training institutions nationwide.

As the plaintiff, the team from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law performed excellently in their competition.
Associate Professor Dr. Tran Viet Dung, Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, affirmed that VMoot is not only a playground for students to test themselves in a simulated environment but also an important opportunity to practice research skills, critical thinking, litigation and teamwork - essential competencies in the legal profession.
The two teams participating in the final round are BITEDUYTROJ (Ho Chi Minh City University of Law) and THE LAURUS 8310 ( Hanoi University of Law). The debate content of the final round revolved around a hypothetical case of a capital contribution contract dispute - one of the common problems in business operations.
The exam required teams to handle a series of important legal issues such as: The validity of capital contribution agreements; conditions for confirming corporate membership rights; the ability to request a refund of transferred money...
After nearly 2 hours of debate, the arbitration panel decided to award the overall first prize worth 100 million VND to team THE LAURUS 8310 and the second prize worth 70 million VND to team BITEDUYTROJ.

The first prize of the contest worth 100 million VND belongs to Hanoi Law University.

The prize for the most effortful team was awarded to team AQUATRIO from University of Commerce.

The total prize value of VMoot 2025 is up to 300 million VND.
In addition, the organizing committee also awarded certificates to the top 12 excellent teams entering the quarter-finals: Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, Hanoi University of Law, Foreign Trade University, University of Economics and Law, National Economics University, Diplomatic Academy, University of Commerce; Nha Trang University and Can Tho University.
The best article award (VND 35 million) went to BITEDUYTROJ team and the best contestant award (VND 25 million) went to Thai Gia Nghi, both from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law. The most popular team (VND 27 million) went to LCCERS team from Foreign Trade University. The most effortful team (VND 27 million) went to AQUATRIO team from University of Commerce.
In addition, the organizing committee also awarded the first prize of the 2025 VMoot logo design contest to contestant Mai Hong Phuoc - Ho Chi Minh City University of Law. This design will officially become the official logo for the 2026 VMoot Moot Court Competition.
Moot Court Competition is an activity widely held around the world to create conditions for law students to practice and experience the role of litigators before a mock arbitration panel.
Over the past 8 years, the VMoot competition has attracted a total of more than 2,000 contestants from more than 40 prestigious law training institutions across the country. VMoot has become one of the annual academic competitions that law students across the country look forward to.
