Currently, high schools in Thanh Hoa are gradually announcing the admission scores for the first and second choices. By 5:00 p.m. today (June 24), the schools will have to announce the admission scores.

On the afternoon of June 24, speaking with Dan Viet Newspaper reporter, Mr. Thieu Anh Duong - Principal of Ham Rong High School, Thanh Hoa City said that this year the school has 728 students registered for the exam.

The benchmark score for entering grade 10 at Ham Rong High School, Thanh Hoa City in 2024 is 35.8 benchmark points. The school has announced that 652 students (including 8 direct admission students) have passed the entrance exam.

In addition, Mr. Duong also added that this year the school had a candidate who also got 35.8 points but failed due to considering additional criteria.

Mr. Le Xuan Ninh - Principal of Luong Dac Bang High School, Hoang Hoa District, Thanh Hoa Province, said that the school's Admissions Council had just finished its meeting.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Luong Dac Bang High School set the admission score for the first choice at 30.7 points and the second choice at 29.6 points. This year, the school has 716 candidates registered for the 10th grade entrance exam and accepted 616 students.

According to Mr. Le Van Bac - Principal of Quang Xuong 1 High School, Quang Xuong District, the school has 690 candidates registered for the exam in the 2024-2025 school year. The standard score for entering grade 10 at Quang Xuong 1 High School, Quang Xuong District, Thanh Hoa is 30.1 points, but 3 students are short of the target, so the school considered 3/5 students with a score of 30 to have enough expenses of 616 students for 14 classes.

Previously, from June 13 to 14, 2024, Thanh Hoa province had more than 45,500 candidates registering for the entrance exam to grade 10 public high schools, with 89 examination councils and 1,922 examination rooms.

According to the plan, the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province has assigned 931 classes with 40,540 students to enroll in grade 10 for the 2024-2025 school year, of which 864 public classes with 37,800 students (including 12-class specialized high schools with 420 students; 2 ethnic boarding schools with 12 classes with 420 students); 67 private classes with 2,740 students.
