Announcing the unique calligraphy work "The South forever remembers His grace"

(QNO) - On April 25, the Thu Duc City Party Committee (Ho Chi Minh City) held a ceremony to announce the unique calligraphy work "The South will forever remember His grace" by World Record Holder - Calligraphy Artist Vo Duong (a native of Binh Tu, Thang Binh). This is a cultural and artistic work to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The work includes 50 famous quotes by President Ho Chi Minh about the South and the Vietnamese revolution, spanning from 1911 to 1969. The quotes are presented in the form of traditional calligraphy, compiled into a large-format, unique book with special scale, material and artistic value.

The work has a cover height of 177cm, a width of 108cm, and a spine thickness of 25cm. Each page is 157cm high, 84cm wide, and weighs 2kg. The book weighs 250kg overall and was created in 2 years (2024 - 2025) from traditional and high-quality materials such as precious wood, copper, gold, canvas, dó paper, Chinese ink, and hand-painted colors.

According to the Organizing Committee, the entire content is carefully researched, tightly organized, ensuring accuracy in terms of documents and the harmony between cultural - historical elements and calligraphic language. The work is expected to become a cultural highlight, contributing to spreading Ho Chi Minh's ideology and the tradition of patriotism and national solidarity on the occasion of the country's important holiday.

Sharing at the ceremony, Artisan Vo Duong - who was recognized by the World Records Organization (WorldKings) and the World Records Union (URDI) as the person who created the largest calligraphy works in the world, said: "Each word in the book is not just a stroke of the pen, but also a contemplation and effort to convey Uncle Ho's spirit in a form of expression close to the national culture. This work is a deep gratitude that I want to send to the South - the land that always remembers Uncle Ho."
