Announcing and honoring "Top 9 impressive tourism products of Hue 2024"

(Fatherland) - On the afternoon of November 22, in Hue City, the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue province in coordination with Saigon Economic Magazine held the Announcement and Honoring Ceremony of "Top 9 Impressive Hue Tourism Products 2024".

The voting program "Top 9 impressive tourism products of Hue" in 2024 is organized by the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue province in coordination with Saigon Marketing, to explore, honor and promote the unique destinations, products and tourism services of Hue. Contribute to building the tourism brand for Hue, affirming the worthy position of Hue on the map of Vietnam tourism.

This is an effort to enhance the image and appeal of Hue tourism, thereby attracting more domestic and international tourists. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to introduce and promote prestigious, new and attractive tourism products of Thua Thien Hue.

Honor and award medals to the top 9 impressive check-in spots.

The program also contributes to enhancing the value of Hue tourism brand through prominent slogans, such as "Hue - Vietnam's typical Festival City", "Hue - Culinary Capital", "Hue - Ao Dai Capital", "Hue - ASEAN Clean Tourism City"... and demonstrates the determination to build Thua Thien Hue into a centrally-governed city.

Launched in July 2024, the voting program for "Top 9 impressive tourism products of Hue" in 2024 has created a strong effect in the tourism community, attracting nearly 250 diverse nominations from destinations, accommodation facilities, restaurants, cafes and cultural experiences in Thua Thien Hue.

With over 45,660 votes, the event received great attention from the public, readers and tourists who have experienced traveling to Thua Thien Hue. These initial results not only reflect the attraction of the program but also show the community's interest and appreciation for tourism in the ancient capital of Hue.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced and honored 54 impressive tourism products and services in 6 voting categories. Of which, the Top 9 impressive check-in points include: Dien Kien Trung, Hai Van Quan, Thanh Toan tile bridge, AEON MALL Hue, Laguna Lang Co golf course, Le Ba Dang souvenir space, Vong Canh hill, YesHue Eco Thac Mo eco-tourism area, Bach Ma Village.

Other categories also honored are Top 9 impressive accommodation establishments: Hotels, resorts, homestays... providing quality services, memorable experiences; Top 9 impressive culinary service points: Quintessential culinary addresses, bringing rich Hue flavors; Top 9 impressive tea shops - coffee shops - bars: Unique coffee, tea, bar spaces, ideal for relaxation and enjoyment; Top 9 impressive Hue cuisine - specialties: Special dishes, creating the Hue culinary brand; Top 9 impressive activities - services: New, creative tourism activities and services, bringing unique experiences to visitors.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue province, said that the announcement and honoring ceremony was also an opportunity to gather typical faces of Hue tourism industry, honoring the continuous efforts of businesses and individuals in building and developing quality tourism products, contributing to spreading the image of Hue - an attractive destination of heritage, culture and cuisine to a large number of tourists.
