'Samsung princess' laments

Annie Moon shares about her journey to pursue her dream of becoming a Kpop idol. The singer was sad when her family did not support her.

According to Chosun , Annie Moon (real name Moon Do Yoon) shared many behind-the-scenes stories about debuting in the group ALLDAY PROJECT on the show Salon Drip 2. In the beginning, the "Samsung princess" revealed the starting point for her idol dream.

"I always imitate 2NE1 and Big Bang songs. I always perform CL's parts in songs. I even give chocolate to my younger sister and tell her to memorize the other members' parts," Annie Moon said.

Continuing, Annie Moon was sad that her parents did not support her in her artistic path: “When I practiced singing or dancing, my parents often complained about the noise. They said that if I worked hard on other things like that, I would have built a house by now. When I said I wanted to become a singer, they thought it was a temporary hobby. Until now, I still hate hearing people say that this will pass quickly.”

In addition, Annie Moon also talked about her time as a trainee at The Black Label. At that time, the singer was studying abroad in the US, so she could only attend online classes, record videos of her exercises, and send them to the company for feedback. Whenever she was able to return to Korea, Annie Moon took advantage of the time to go to the company to practice, maintaining this for four years.

Regarding the audience's reaction after her debut, Annie Moon shared: "I take in the positive feedback that I need to improve, and ignore the baseless criticism. If you don't listen, you won't know what you're lacking. So I constantly monitor everyone's feedback."

ALLDAY PROJECT is the latest co-ed group from The Black Label. The company was founded by famous producer Teddy Park. Unlike traditional single-gender K-pop groups, ALLDAY PROJECT consists of 5 members: 3 girls (Annie, Bailey, Youngseo) and 2 boys (Tarzzan, Woochan). Among them, Annie Moon is notable for being the granddaughter of Ms. Lee Myung Hee, Honorary Chairwoman of Shinsegae Group and the eldest daughter of current Chairman Chung Yoo Kyung.
