Before the souls of the heroic martyrs at the Dien Bien Phu Martyrs' Cemetery and the Martyrs' Temple at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield, the delegation of the Ministry of Home Affairs' Trade Union respectfully offered incense and laid wreaths to express deep gratitude to the previous generations who fought bravely and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, regaining peace , independence and freedom for the nation; opening an era of freedom, where the people have the right to be the masters in building and developing an increasingly prosperous country.

Ministry of Home Affairs Trade Union presents gifts to SOS Children's Village Dien Bien Phu
Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the SOS Children's Village Dien Bien Phu. Here, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs' Trade Union, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy presented the SOS Children's Village Dien Bien Phu with a gift worth 20 million VND, with the desire to help the children overcome difficulties, study hard, and strive to become useful people for society.

The representative of the leadership of the SOS Children's Village Dien Bien Phu respectfully expressed his deep gratitude to the Trade Union of the Ministry of Home Affairs for their attention and care for children in difficult circumstances and said that the Children's Village has 14 houses, currently home to about 200 orphans, homeless children, and children in difficult circumstances. Each child when received by the village has a different situation, suffering from emotional and material deprivation. Not being cared for properly, many children are timid and lack confidence. However, with the attention and care of the village, especially the mothers and aunts who are directly raising them in the families, the children are able to play, study, live emotionally and be more open. The children have constantly strived, overcome difficulties and barriers to turn their dreams into reality. Therefore, from this loving home, hundreds of children have grown up and matured.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Home Affairs Trade Union also presented 02 Great Solidarity houses, each worth 50 million VND, to 02 households and 02 water purifiers and essential supplies to 02 schools in Xa Huoi So commune, Tua Chua district, Dien Bien province, worth 50 million VND. At the same time, gifts were presented to civil servants from policy families working at the Department of Home Affairs of Dien Bien province.
