On the morning of May 9th, the Trade Union of the Transport and Communications sector, in coordination with Thanh Hoa 19/5 Joint Stock Company, organized the launching ceremony of the "Workers' Month" 2024 and honored outstanding workers; launching a high-intensity emulation campaign to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024).

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Union Nguyen Minh Canh and Deputy Director of the Department of Transport Lai The Khai presented Certificates of Commendation from the Transport Sector Labor Union to workers with outstanding achievements in patriotic emulation movements during "Workers' Month" in 2024.

Accordingly, during the "Workers' Month" in 2024, the Trade Union of the Transport Sector will promote and organize patriotic emulation movements among workers, civil servants, and laborers, focusing on the "Excellent Worker, Creative Worker" movement, promoting technical innovation initiatives; and the "Workers, civil servants, and laborers of the Transport Sector pioneering the realization of the aspiration to build a civilized and prosperous Thanh Hoa homeland" in the period 2021-2030. It will continue to innovate and improve the quality of trade union activities; and organize activities to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

Actively participate and coordinate with employers to review, supplement, and monitor the implementation of plans, regulations, rules, procedures, and measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene, improve working conditions, reduce workplace environmental pollution; provide healthcare for workers; and conduct visits and provide support to union members and workers in difficult circumstances... Implement effectively the programs: "Each grassroots trade union, one benefit for union members"; "Workers' Month - Honoring workers"; "Workers' Month - Reaching out to workers"; "Healthy for work and production"...

At the launching ceremony, 40 union members and workers were awarded Certificates of Commendation by the Trade Union of the Transport Sector and Thanh Hoa 19/5 Joint Stock Company for their outstanding achievements in patriotic emulation movements during "Workers' Month" in 2024.

On this occasion, 15 union members and workers with particularly difficult circumstances received gifts from the Provincial Labor Union, each worth 1.3 million VND.
