On the morning of October 25, the National Assembly Standing Committee reported the results of the discussion at the Delegation on issues related to the vote of confidence. After that, the National Assembly conducted the vote of confidence by secret ballot.

On the afternoon of October 25, after the Vote Counting Committee reports the vote counting results, the National Assembly will vote to pass a Resolution confirming the results of the vote of confidence for those holding positions elected and approved by the National Assembly.

Regarding this content, speaking with Lao Dong on the afternoon of October 23, National Assembly Delegate Duong Khac Mai (Dak Nong delegation) - said that the content related to taking a vote of confidence for positions elected and approved by the National Assembly has been prepared very carefully, methodically, and closely at all stages.

Through the working process, the positions have clearly demonstrated their roles and responsibilities in each field. Many National Assembly deputies also highly appreciated the ministries, ministers, and heads of sectors in the recent past for their great efforts in performing their functions and tasks according to the provisions of law.

Lao Dong reporter raised the question, there are fields and positions that easily show work results, but there are also positions that are "more hidden", with in-depth activities and results in a longer-term vision, so how should we evaluate them? Is it true that "doing your job well" will get a high vote of confidence?

Delegate Duong Khac Mai said that with nearly 500 National Assembly deputies and half of the National Assembly's term, the positions that are subject to a vote of confidence, whether "hidden or visible", National Assembly deputies will be clear-headed and impartial in order to objectively and comprehensively evaluate the areas of operation of each position.

The Dak Nong delegation representative said that when considering a problem, it is necessary to consider it comprehensively, objectively and subjectively. Because during the working process, there are many problems that arise, some are resolved well, some are not resolved well, and there are also limitations.

"I want to affirm once again that the delegates are completely clear-headed and can clearly identify this issue to vote their confidence in each specific position in a worthy manner," affirmed delegate Duong Khac Mai.

The mid-term assessment is linked to responsibilities and results achieved for the country and localities in the fields of socio-economics, national defense and security.

"The heart, mind, and responsibility of the National Assembly deputies when choosing and voting for confidence will be in line with the responsibility and work of each leader who has contributed in the past time" - National Assembly deputy Nguyen Thi Suu said.

The Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thua Thien Hue province said that the positions that were voted for were positions elected or approved by the National Assembly and were all very important leadership positions. Therefore, delegate Suu expected that the leadership positions would have new solutions to effectively implement the socio-economic development targets set at the beginning of the term and successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress.

"I expect that leaders will have more synchronous, comprehensive and drastic solutions, including leadership, direction and management solutions of the National Assembly, the Government and ministries, especially direct direction of localities" - delegate Suu expressed his opinion.
