Detox water recipe before breakfast supports weight loss, helps the digestive system

Pharmacist Mohammed Fawaz recommends drinking celery, cucumber and lemon juice in the morning, before eating for 7 days, to help the digestive system and support weight loss.

Pharmacist Mohammed Fawaz revealed the detox water recipe on his personal page, consisting of 3 common, easy-to-find ingredients: cucumber, celery, and lemon or lime.

After cleaning the cucumber and celery, cut them into small pieces. Next, squeeze the juice of half a lemon into it, add a cup of water, puree the ingredients, and filter through a sieve to remove the pulp.

The drink suggested by pharmacist Mohammed Fawaz uses three main ingredients: cucumber, celery and lemon.

"They will help cleanse the liver and colon, promote bowel movements, aid in weight loss, and make you feel healthier and more energized," says Fawaz.

However, pharmacists do not support drinking this drink alone during the day, instead of breakfast or water. Fawaz recommends drinking it before breakfast, on an empty stomach, for at least 7 days to see positive improvements in the body.

“Cucumber and celery help detoxify the body and remove excess water and waste from the body. The antioxidants from the lemon will help with the bowels and also add flavor to the drink,” explains the pharmacist.

Cucumbers are rich in potassium, which helps purify the blood by removing waste and heavy metals from the body. Pectin - a soluble fiber found in cucumbers - stimulates bowel movements, thereby reducing constipation and helping to eliminate waste more smoothly.

Celery is rich in water and fiber, so it also has the ability to support the smooth excretion of waste. Through intestinal activity, it helps to eliminate harmful bacteria in the intestines and expel gas, thereby effectively reducing bloating. Vitamins B1, B2, C, carotene and iron are abundant in celery, helping to improve immunity.

Lemons are rich in antioxidants, including vitamin C, which effectively eliminates toxins from the body. The citric acid in lemons increases the secretion of digestive enzymes and boosts metabolism, thereby helping to lose weight.

This fruit is also rich in flavonoids, which have powerful antioxidant effects, preventing cell damage and reducing inflammation.
