Without any fuss or fanfare, FPT Long Chau attended the Healthcare Innovation Forum 2025, which took place on June 6, with the image of a pharmacy close to the people, understanding the industry and gradually contributing to the digital transformation of the country's healthcare with technology, data and dedication.

At the forum, FPT Retail Deputy General Director and FPT Long Chau CEO Nguyen Do Quyen participated in the discussion session with the topic: "Realizing the vision of public health care - building a sustainable, equitable and effective health system."

Led by David Duong, MD, PhD, Director of Global Primary Health Care, Harvard Medical School’s Center for Primary Health Care, the guests focused on the need to ensure equitable and high-quality access to health care for all. This includes expanding health insurance coverage, especially for children; narrowing the gap between rural and urban areas through telehealth solutions; and enhancing digital public services, aiming for equality in access to health care.

FPT Long Chau was evaluated by experts at the event as one of the typical models of pharmaceutical retail chains in the digital and data era. As the "first medical access point" in the community, Long Chau pharmacy is striving every day to become a bridge between people and the national health system. At the same time, the enterprise focuses on integrating data into the national digital health ecosystem, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, safety, and confidentiality, while contributing to improving the effectiveness of treatment and public health management. This is also the priority orientation of the Vietnamese health sector today, in line with the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW.

A modern pharmacy chain is not only a place to provide genuine, quality drugs to people, but also plays an indispensable role in the national health data system. With more than 2,050 points of sale across 63 provinces and cities and a team of more than 18,000 well-trained pharmacists who continuously improve their expertise, FPT Long Chau is ready to become an extension of the grassroots medical system, especially in the context of Vietnam shifting to a 2-tier local government model.

Through its extensive network and convenient search tools, Long Chau helps people access authentic and reliable medical information. From there, patients can proactively prevent and detect diseases early, not missing the "golden period" of treatment, contributing to reducing the burden on the upper-level health system.

At the Forum, there were two notable keywords: “innovation” and “data” – key factors in the digital transformation of healthcare. In particular, data is the core foundation for building a modern, smart healthcare system.

In fact, FPT Long Chau is the first pharmacy chain in Vietnam to integrate electronic identification via VNeID, after fully meeting the strict requirements on technical infrastructure and information security from Department C06 - Ministry of Public Security . This successful connection not only marks an important step forward for Long Chau, but also creates a premise, establishing a connection standard for other pharmacy chains, including private pharmacies nationwide, to quickly integrate into the VNeID system when required. This is also an important step towards the goal of each person owning an electronic health book, storing all information related to the treatment process, medication history, supporting medical forces in diagnosing, monitoring and treating more effectively.

Long Chau's leaders also pledged to continue to innovate and invest heavily in technology to bring safe, convenient, and personalized experiences, moving towards realizing the desire for healthcare for every household and every citizen. Thereby, contributing to raising awareness of disease prevention, helping to save on medical costs as well as reducing the burden on the country's healthcare system./.
