On November 21, SAP and FPT announced an upgrade to their cooperation. Accordingly, FPT is the first Vietnamese partner to join SAP’s Regional Strategic Service Partner (RSSP) program in the Asia-Pacific and Japan regions, with the goal of enhancing capacity and expanding market share in this region. FPT will expand its activities in providing and deploying SAP services and solutions to customers throughout the region.
By joining the RSSP program, SAP will have a support strategy, including industry-specific solutions, as well as a unified marketing strategy and deep market connections at the regional level, thereby bringing more value to customers.
RSSP is designed to facilitate collaboration between partner organizations based in each region, ensuring that specific, unique customer needs are met. To participate in the program, regional partners must meet or exceed SAP criteria for scope of operations, capabilities, and shared sustainability strategy alignment.
Currently, FPT has 1,300 consultants with more than 900 international certificates recognized by SAP. Previously, SAP launched the Regional Strategic Service Partner program, including a group of the most important global partners in the fields of consulting, infrastructure and technology.

On the SAP side, Mr. Utkarsh Maheshwari, Director of Strategic Partnerships, SAP Asia Pacific and Japan, said that SAP owns a deep and rapidly growing ecosystem and partner network throughout the region. Many SAP partners headquartered in Asia Pacific and Japan have thousands of consultants worldwide who are certified by SAP, implementing hundreds of SAP projects every year. These factors create prerequisites for SAP and its partners in the region to create more innovation and value for customers.
