Dong Nai private enterprises export nearly 2.6 billion USD

According to the Dong Nai Statistics Office, in the first 5 months of 2025, private enterprises in the province exported nearly 2.6 billion USD worth of goods, an increase of more than 15% over the same period last year. The groups of goods that domestic private enterprises exported a lot were: coffee, cashew nuts, textiles, wood products, and pepper.

Currently, private enterprises in Dong Nai account for about 24% of the province's total export turnover. The rest of the province's exports belong to foreign direct investment enterprises; state-owned enterprises account for a very small proportion, only about 2%.

Many businesses said that most orders from the US require accelerating production and export of goods during the period when the US extends tariffs. Businesses have made plans for situations when trade tensions continue to escalate to minimize risks. Many businesses in Dong Nai are rushing to open new markets to continue production and export.
