In this situation, Dong Thap Power Company (PC Dong Thap) has promptly developed and synchronously implemented many specific plans and solutions to ensure stable and safe power supply, serving the holiday effectively.

Under the direction of the Company, the affiliated units have urgently reviewed, inspected, maintained and repaired the power grid, paying special attention to areas with high load growth during previous holidays. Transformer stations at risk of overload have been increased in capacity, balanced in phase and reasonably transferred in load to ensure stable operation.

Mr. Nguyen Dong Ho - Deputy Director of PC Dong Thap said that, in parallel with the work of handling locations with safety risks, the Power Companies have cleaned the insulators, measured the current, and checked the operating temperature of transformer stations to promptly regulate the load reasonably. Points with the possibility of overload are calculated, and the appropriate operating method is adjusted to limit the occurrence of hot spots, protect equipment and minimize unexpected incidents. In addition, the Company also proactively coordinates with local agencies and authorities to grasp the plan to organize festivals, cultural, artistic and sports activities... from which, build flexible power supply plans for each area.

The company requests that no repairs or power outages be carried out on the grid from 0:00 on April 30 to 24:00 on May 4, 2025, except in cases of force majeure. Key areas such as administrative areas, tourist areas, and crowded entertainment venues are inspected and arranged with reasonable power sources to meet electricity needs.

PC Dong Thap also arranged enough staff to operate and repair 24/7 during the holiday, and prepared spare materials, equipment, vehicles and backup generators to promptly respond to grid incidents, ensuring the restoration of power supply.
