The Electricity Department has deployed the installation of a new 400kVA transformer station (located near the Provincial Square) to receive electricity from the 477 Long An transmission line for backup power supply; coordinated with relevant units to implement procedures for relocating power poles on the Rach Muong branch medium voltage line - 478 Long An line, to ensure power supply in the Provincial Square area as well as ensure power supply in the original state for buildings belonging to the Provincial Public Administration Service Center; coordinated to implement survey procedures, develop technical plans, agree on low-voltage power connection, and install electricity meters immediately after the Tan An City People's Committee deployed the installation of lighting systems in the Provincial Square area; proactively worked with units assigned to preside over the organization of events to agree on plans to prepare backup generators and make a list of forces to coordinate in checking and operating backup generators.

In addition, Long An Electricity Company also directed its affiliated units to coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committees of localities to grasp the accommodation facilities (hotels, motels, etc.) of the attending delegates; proactively grasp information, coordinate to ensure electricity supply for these accommodation facilities.
The Electricity Department has increased inspection of equipment on the power system, prevented incidents and prepared quick response plans when incidents occur; implemented security, safety, fire prevention and fighting for power projects and grid operation locations. From November 28 to December 4, 2024, no power outages will be implemented (except in case of incidents), focusing on operations to ensure continuous power supply in the area.
