The book is compiled and published in bilingual form, not only helping Vietnamese people better understand the history of the country's press, but also vividly introducing to international friends the proud development journey of the Vietnamese revolutionary press. During the preparation for the National Press Festival and the National Press Awards Ceremony, I asked Ms. My for permission to transfer this book for reference. We also built a program script with many touching contents, taken from the true stories in this valuable photo book.”

Also attending the event was collector Nguyen Phi Dung, who contributed many documents to the book. Since 2016, Mr. Nguyen Phi Dung has been diligently collecting books, newspapers, magazines and currently owns a huge amount of about 23 tons of printed documents. Mr. Nguyen Phi Dung shared: “Up to now, I have collected about 23 tons. Many people are surprised, even do not understand why a person who is not a journalist, not an archivist, would spend money, effort, and travel many times everywhere... just to collect something without knowing clearly what to do with it. But to me, newspapers are historical witnesses at the time of publication. Each page of the newspaper retains the breath of the times, telling the story of how our ancestors lived, fought, and protected the country. I want these documents to be preserved for future generations, so that our descendants know how vividly the past existed through each page of the newspaper.”

Not only stopping at archiving, since March 2025, with the support of a friend, Mr. Dung has begun to digitize his entire collection of books, newspapers and magazines, with the desire to spread historical values to the community and contribute to raising awareness of preserving the heritage of printed documents that are gradually fading away.
