Ben Thanh Market Operator Changes Senior Personnel

(Dan Tri) - Ben Thanh Company has a new general director, Ms. Nguyen Viet Hoa, and a new chairman, Mr. Pham Hoang Liem.

Ben Thanh Trading - Service Joint Stock Company (stock code: BTT) announced the appointment of Ms. Nguyen Viet Hoa as General Director and legal representative from January 1, 2025.

Previously, the position of General Director and Legal Representative was held by Mr. Tran Huu Hoang Vu since 2016, for 9 years now.

In his resignation letter, Mr. Vu said that in order for the company to have strong growth, breakthrough development, and further increase shareholder benefits according to the 5-year strategy (2024-2029), a new general director is needed. He requested to resign and terminate his labor contract from January 1, 2025.

According to the first half year management report, Mr. Vu owns 2,621 shares, accounting for a very small proportion of the enterprise.

In addition to holding positions at Ben Thanh Company, Mr. Vu also holds positions at other organizations such as Vice Chairman of Thinh Vuong Investment Joint Stock Company, Member of the Board of Directors of Vinh Loc - Ben Thanh Service Joint Stock Company, Chairman of Ben Thanh Sun Ny Company Limited.

As for Ms. Ha, before becoming General Director, she was Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Ben Thanh Company. After transferring Ms. Ha, the Board of Directors elected Mr. Pham Hoang Liem, Member of the Board of Directors, to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors from January 1, 2025. At the same time, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Hanh was appointed as Deputy General Director of the company from January 2, 2025.
