A company in Hanoi won the auction for the golden land at 16 Bach Dang - Da Nang for more than 359 billion VND.

(NLDO) - Phuc Tin Company won the auction for the "golden land" at 16 Bach Dang - on the Han River in Da Nang with a price of more than 359 billion VND, nearly 49 billion higher than the starting price.

On October 9, the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced that Vice Chairman of the People's Committee Phan Thai Binh signed a decision to lease land plot No. 16 Bach Dang (Hai Chau Ward) to Phuc Tin Service Joint Stock Company after the company won the auction for land use rights.

According to the decision, Phuc Tin is allowed to lease 1,795m² of commercial and service land for a period of 50 years , paying the rent once for the entire period of use . Previously, this land was successfully auctioned by the company at a price of more than 200 million VND/m² , equivalent to more than 359 billion VND , nearly 49 billion VND higher than the starting price of more than 310 billion VND (173.2 million VND/m²).

Plot 16 Bach Dang is located on the Han River, Da Nang City

Notably, compared to the auction in February, the starting price of the land was only 59.2 million VND/m² (more than 106 billion VND), showing a multiple increase in the recent auction.

Land plot 16 Bach Dang is located in a prime location right in the city center, with two frontages on Bach Dang and Tran Phu streets , overlooking the Han River , directly connected to key service - tourism routes.

The city also encourages investors to adjust designs in the direction of increasing construction setbacks, creating open spaces, adding green areas and parking spaces .

Previously, the land was assigned to Bac Nam 79 Construction Joint Stock Company owned by Phan Van Anh Vu (Vu "Nhom") , rented in 2014. However, after the inspection conclusion and investigation process of the Ministry of Public Security, this property was seized. By 2023, the Ministry of Public Security had issued a document requesting to cancel the suspension of transactions , allowing the city to handle the property according to regulations .
