Thoai Son district voters agree on adjusting the name of commune-level administrative units

On April 25, communes in Thoai Son district that had adjusted the names of administrative units organized a poll to collect voters' opinions in the district.

As a result, 99.97% of voters agreed to establish Dinh My commune on the basis of merging the current status of Vinh Phu commune, Dinh Thanh commune and Dinh My commune (with 7,121 voters consulted); 99.97% of voters agreed to establish Phu Hoa commune on the basis of merging the current status of Phu Thuan commune, Vinh Chanh commune and Phu Hoa town (with 7,586 voters consulted); 100% of voters agreed to establish Vinh Trach commune on the basis of merging the current status of Vinh Khanh and Vinh Trach communes (with 6,111 voters consulted); 100% of voters agreed to establish Tay Phu commune on the basis of merging the current status of An Binh commune, My Phu Dong commune and Tay Phu commune (with 4,511 voters consulted).

The people's agreement with the plan to arrange new commune-level administrative units as well as the proposed names of the new administrative units is proof of the people's consensus and trust in the government in implementing major policies of the Party and State.
