Ninh Thuan voters agree on administrative unit arrangement plan

Ninh Thuan voters agree on the plan to arrange administrative units at provincial and commune levels.

According to the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province, regarding the Project to merge Ninh Thuan province and Khanh Hoa province , from April 19, 2025 to April 21, 2025, the People's Committees of districts and cities of Ninh Thuan province directed the People's Committees of communes, wards and towns to organize the collection of opinions from voters representing households on the draft Project to merge Ninh Thuan province and Khanh Hoa province.

As a result, 176,835 voters agreed, accounting for 97% of the total number of voters; 1,421 voters disagreed, accounting for 0.78% of the total number of voters. The number of voters who did not participate in the vote/invalid votes was 4,045 voters, accounting for 2.22% of the total number of voters.

Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee said that from April 19, 2025 to April 21, 2025, the People's Committees of districts and cities directed the People's Committees of communes, wards and towns to collect opinions from voters representing households on the draft Project on rearranging commune-level administrative units of Ninh Thuan province . On April 25, 2025, the People's Committees of communes, wards and towns continued to collect opinions from voters representing households on the content of renaming commune-level administrative units formed after the rearrangement of Ninh Thuan province.

As a result, 175,852 voters agreed, accounting for 96.46% of the total number of voters; 1,553 voters disagreed, accounting for 0.85% of the total number of voters. Number of voters who did not participate in voting/invalid voting: 4,896 voters, accounting for 2.69% of the total number of voters.

According to the draft Project on rearranging commune-level administrative units of Ninh Thuan province:

1. Merge the original area and population of Kinh Dinh ward, Phu Ha ward, Dai Son ward and Dao Long ward (Phan Rang-Thap Cham city) into a new administrative unit and name it Phan Rang ward.

2. Merge the original area and population of My Binh ward, My Dong ward, My Hai ward and part of Dong Hai ward (except Phu Tho village) - Phan Rang-Thap Cham city, into a new administrative unit and named Dong Hai ward.

3. Merge the original area and population of Van Hai ward (Phan Rang-Thap Cham city) and Khanh Hai town (Ninh Hai district) into a new administrative unit and name it Ninh Chu ward.

4. Merge the original area and population of Phuoc My ward, Bao An ward and Thanh Hai commune (Phan Rang-Thap Cham city) into a new administrative unit and name it Bao An ward.

5. Merge the original area and population of Do Vinh ward (Phan Rang-Thap Cham city) and Nhon Son commune (Ninh Son district) into a new administrative unit and name it Do Vinh ward.

6. Merge the original area and population of Phuoc Dan town, Phuoc Thuan commune and Phuoc Hai commune (Ninh Phuoc district) into a new administrative unit and name it Ninh Phuoc commune.

7. Merge the original area and population of Phuoc Thai commune and Phuoc Huu commune (Ninh Phuoc district) into a new administrative unit and name it Phuoc Huu commune.

8. Merge the original area and population of Phuoc Vinh commune, Phuoc Son commune and Phuoc Hau commune (Ninh Phuoc district) into a new administrative unit and name it Phuoc Hau commune.

9. Merge the original area and population of Phuoc Nam commune, Phuoc Ninh commune and Phuoc Minh commune (Thuan Nam district) into a new administrative unit and name it Thuan Nam commune.

10. Merge the original area and population of Phuoc Diem commune and Ca Na commune (Thuan Nam district) into a new administrative unit and name it Ca Na commune.

11. Merge the original area and population of Phuoc Ha commune and Nhi Ha commune (Thuan Nam district) into a new administrative unit and name it Phuoc Ha commune.

12. Merge the original area and population of Phu Tho village (Dong Hai ward, Phan Rang-Thap Cham city), An Hai commune (Ninh Phuoc district) and Phuoc Dinh commune (Thuan Nam district) into a new administrative unit and name it Phuoc Dinh commune.

13. Merge the original area and population of Phuong Hai commune, Tri Hai commune (Ninh Hai district) and Bac Son commune (Thuan Bac district) into a new administrative unit and name it Ninh Hai commune.

14. Merge the original area and population of Xuan Hai commune, Tan Hai commune, Ho Hai commune (Ninh Hai district) into a new administrative unit and name it Xuan Hai commune.

15. Merge the original area and population of Vinh Hai commune, Nhon Hai commune and Thanh Hai commune (Ninh Hai district) into a new administrative unit and name it Vinh Hai commune.

16. Merge the original area and population of Bac Phong commune, Phuoc Khang commune and Loi Hai commune (Thuan Bac district) into a new administrative unit and name it Thuan Bac commune.

17. Merge the original area and population of Phuoc Chien commune and Cong Hai commune (Thuan Bac district) into a new administrative unit and name it Cong Hai commune.

18. Merge the original area and population of Tan Son town and Quang Son commune (Ninh Son district) into a new administrative unit and name it Ninh Son commune.

19. Merge the original area and population of Lam Son commune and Luong Son commune (Ninh Son district) into a new administrative unit and name it Lam Son commune.

20. Merge the original area and population of Ma Noi and Hoa Son communes (Ninh Son district) into a new administrative unit and name it Anh Dung commune.

21. Merge the original area and population of My Son commune (Ninh Son district) and Phuoc Trung commune (Bac Ai district) into a new administrative unit and name it My Son commune.

22. Merge the original area and population of Phuoc Dai commune and Phuoc Thanh commune (Bac Ai district) into a new administrative unit and name it Bac Ai Dong commune.

23. Merge the original area and population of Phuoc Tien commune, Phuoc Thang commune and Phuoc Chinh commune (Bac Ai district) into a new administrative unit and name it Bac Ai commune.

24. Merge the original area and population of Phuoc Hoa commune, Phuoc Tan commune and Phuoc Binh commune (Bac Ai district) into a new administrative unit and name it Bac Ai Tay commune.

Before the reorganization, Ninh Thuan province had 62 commune-level administrative units (including: 47 communes, 12 wards and 03 towns). After the reorganization, Ninh Thuan province will have 24 commune-level administrative units (including: 19 communes, 05 wards); a reduction of 38/62 units (28 communes, 07 wards, 03 towns).
