On Vung Ang Expressway Construction Site – International Labor Day

The North-South Expressway section from Vung Ang to Bung is 55.34 km long, of which the section passing through Ha Tinh is 12.9 km long, invested by Project Management Board 6, Ministry of Construction . The deadline for opening the route is not long, while the workload is quite large. Therefore, although it is during the April 30 - May 1 holiday, the working atmosphere at the project site is still bustling, the team of workers, engineers and laborers are racing against time to ensure the progress of the project.

These are the images recorded at Bridge No. 1 of the Vung Ang - Bung Expressway Project through Ky Hoa Commune, Ky Anh Town on May 1. Due to the nature of the work and the project's progress, hundreds of officers, engineers and workers of Hoa Binh 479 Joint Stock Company had to put aside their holidays to focus on completing the North-South Expressway Project on schedule.

Bridge No. 1 is nearly 1km long, with a total investment of 300 billion VND. The bridge has 22 spans, and so far, the construction unit has installed 16/22 spans. According to the direction of the Ministry of Construction, the Vung Ang - Bung expressway must be technically opened to traffic on June 30. The workload is still large, while time is running out. Therefore, to speed up the progress, the construction unit not only has to "work overtime", but also has to hire more specialized, modern equipment to speed up the beam laying.

The busy and urgent working atmosphere during the April 30 - May 1 holiday is also present at the construction sites of the Vung Ang - Bung Expressway Project. Thousands of workers and hundreds of machines are concentrating on constructing 28 bridges, the main route system and the Deo But mountain tunnel connecting the two provinces of Ha Tinh and Quang Binh.

According to Project Management Board 6, up to now, the construction volume of the entire route has reached over 85% of the plan, and the units are striving to open the route on June 30 as committed.
