The relic site of General Secretary Tran Phu in Duc Tho district. Every year, cadres and teachers of Tran Phu Secondary School, Le Chan District, Hai Phong City come here on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of the late General Secretary. Although it is an annual activity, every time they come here, everyone feels excited and moved. Before the great contributions and spirit of the loyal communist soldier, everyone feels motivated to do better in their assigned tasks and work.
Heroically sacrificed at the age of 27, after nearly a year in the position of General Secretary of the Party, but the contributions of comrade Tran Phu to the Party and the nation were immense. The message and call of the late General Secretary Tran Phu, “Keep up the fighting spirit” before he passed away, became a sharp ideological weapon for the revolutionary soldiers at that time.
During 8 years of revolutionary activities, along with his contributions in theory and strategic guidelines, in the work of Party building, the late General Secretary Tran Phu demonstrated a resilient and indomitable spirit in the face of the enemy; a steadfast political will in the face of all dangers, difficulties, and challenges; and absolute faith in the ideals and path of the proletarian revolution. That is also a priceless spiritual asset, a driving force that adds strength to the entire Party, people, and army to overcome many difficulties and challenges to build the homeland and country to become increasingly prosperous and civilized.
Comrade Tran Phu, along with many other outstanding sons of our nation and of Ha Tinh land, heroically sacrificed for the revolution, making the golden history of our Party and the history of our homeland and country famous. And that will forever be an example for generations to learn and follow.
