The event was chaired by the Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, to promote and connect product consumption, and boost local economic development.
DIVERSE PRODUCTS, LARGE SCALE
This year’s fair brings together about 150 booths, divided into many areas: Exhibition area of OCOP products and typical handicraft products of the province; booth area of OCOP enterprises inside and outside the province; high-quality Vietnamese goods area; food area, traditional cakes, trade and entertainment area.
Participating products are very diverse, including: processed foods, agricultural products, handicrafts, natural health care products and environmentally friendly consumer products. This is an opportunity for businesses, cooperatives, and business households to promote their products, reach new customers and expand the market in the context of the domestic market increasingly paying attention to the quality and origin of goods.

In addition to the typical products of Tien Giang province, the fair also attracted many businesses from other provinces and cities to participate, contributing to creating a vibrant atmosphere, rich and diverse products to serve the sightseeing and shopping needs of people, especially during the holidays of April 30 and May 1. At the fair, many businesses and business households in Tien Giang brought high-quality products, which were positively received by consumers.
Ms. Le Thi Thu Hien, owner of Bach Lap Vien sausage business (Cai Lay district, Tien Giang province) shared: “My business has been established for a long time, but this is the first time I have participated in selling products at the fair. Currently, the business has 4 types of sausages: Traditional, salted egg, beef and gourd satay. Bach Lap Vien sausage products have just been certified as 3-star OCOP in 2024”.
According to Ms. Hien, participating in the fair is a very useful opportunity for local products to reach consumers more closely. “Previously, products were mainly sold in stores and on e-commerce sites. Now that I can directly display and introduce them to visitors, I am very happy and hope that my products will be known to more people.
I also hope that the Organizing Committee will organize more meaningful fairs like this so that small businesses like us have more opportunities to access the market" - Ms. Hien expressed. Participating in this fair, Ms. Hien assessed that the scale of the organization was very methodical, with many booths and products beautifully displayed, attracting a large number of people to visit and shop.
PROMOTING LOCAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Not only food products, natural health care products also attracted the attention of consumers at the fair. Long Thuan Private Enterprise (Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang Province) participated in the fair with many diverse products such as: Grapefruit juice, grapefruit bird's nest juice, grapefruit-flavored coconut, grapefruit flower tea, polygonum multiflorum tea, phyllanthus urinaria tea, coconut candy, grapefruit jam, grapefruit powder, grapefruit incense, hair care products, skin care products..., all of which are made entirely from natural ingredients.

Ms. Tran Thi Phuong, a business representative, said: “We came to this fair hoping that everyone would know about products made from nature, which are friendly to health, and avoid using products containing chemicals that are floating around the market. Long Thuan’s products all focus on preserving their nutritional value and safety for consumers.”
Ms. Phuong also hopes that through the fair, the company's products will reach more customers; at the same time, she hopes that provincial leaders will pay more attention to supporting businesses and cooperatives in trade promotion and product advertising. "Not only our businesses, but also other industries in the province need support so that Tien Giang products will not be lost, but will develop far and wide not only domestically, but also internationally, contributing to the increasingly strong development of the province's economy" - Ms. Phuong shared.
According to Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Tien Giang Province Luu Van Phi, this year's fair is not only an opportunity to promote local products and brands, but also a bridge between manufacturers and consumers, promoting the consumption of domestic goods and stimulating market demand. Through the fair, businesses have the opportunity to learn, exchange experiences, improve product quality, and improve designs to meet the increasing demands of the market.
In particular, the integration of OCOP product display activities, typical handicraft products with high-quality Vietnamese products further affirms Tien Giang province's policy in building local product brands associated with quality standards, aiming at sustainable development.
The fair also contributes to enriching cultural and commercial activities within the framework of the 2nd Tien Giang Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival in 2025, creating a highlight to attract domestic and foreign tourists to visit, shop and experience local products during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
With careful preparation, professional organization and enthusiastic participation of businesses, the 2025 High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Trade Fair - Tien Giang is expected to leave many good impressions, contributing to promoting the image and enhancing the value of Tien Giang products in the market.
