With the support of the Commune Farmers' Association, in early 2019, the Ea Na Commune Lychee Growing Cooperative (Krong Ana District) was officially established with the participation of 35 members, covering a total area of more than 30 hectares.
According to Ms. Mai Thi Hang, Chairwoman of the Farmers' Association of Ea Na commune, the cooperative was established with the purpose of linking production, providing technical support, providing agricultural services, fertilizers, and pesticides to ensure quality for farmers, contributing to improving productivity and product quality, and creating a local agricultural brand.
By joining the cooperative, members are trained in food hygiene and safety, transfer of scientific and technical advances, and instructions on proper use of pesticides... to help take care of the garden more effectively.
After 2 years of establishment, the Ea Na litchi growing cooperative has been recognized by the Center for Agricultural - Forestry - Fishery Quality Region III as having achieved VietGAP certification, and litchi products have origin traceability stamps. Thanks to that, the products have favorable output, and the income of the members is more stable than before.

Mr. Qua said that when building a forest garden model to replace the old coffee garden, he stopped using pesticides, chemical fertilizers, etc. to create purely natural products. When the season comes, he only needs to harvest and sell raw, so there is not much investment cost, and the products are popular with customers, so the selling price is also higher than the general level.
With a variety of crops, this model helps his family have a regular, continuous income, averaging nearly 200 million VND/year.
Identifying safe agricultural production as an inevitable direction in sustainable agricultural development, in March 2024, the Ea Sup District Farmers' Association directed the establishment of a Farmers' Club for production and trading of safe agricultural products and food in Ea Bung commune. With 10 initial members, the model quickly became a bright spot in the application of science and technology, building an agricultural value chain associated with food safety and hygiene.

Immediately after its launch, the Club was given the opportunity to participate in training courses on clean agricultural production, access modern technical processes, and learn value chain farming models in localities in the province. Members were supported with knowledge on the use of organic fertilizers, biological products, and the restriction of pesticides, while applying safe processing and preservation techniques for agricultural products right at the facility.
Not only focusing on production, the Ea Sup District Farmers' Association also coordinates with businesses and intermediary organizations to support product consumption, creating conditions for Club members to participate in conferences, fairs, and startup festivals in the province to introduce vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, eggs, meat, handmade products... with the criteria of "clean - safe - traceable origin".
Mr. Nguyen Van Duc, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Ea Bung Commune, shared: “The establishment of the Club has helped members change their awareness in production, shifting from small-scale, spontaneous methods to a controlled, linked production model with a commitment to quality. This is an important foundation to move towards building a safe production area, creating sustainable values and protecting community health.”
In recent times, the Provincial Farmers’ Association has actively encouraged members and farmers to sign a commitment to produce safe agricultural products, implementing the “3 no’s”: no use of banned substances in livestock and cultivation; no use of banned substances in food preservation and processing; no consumption of dirty food. At the same time, it has popularized and expanded production and business models of safe food products and chains; products imbued with traditional features and local specialties.
Accompanying the production of clean agricultural products, the Association focuses on guiding farmers to produce, process and trade safe agricultural products according to the chain model, from production to consumption. In which, it has coordinated to implement the Industrial Promotion Project in districts, towns and city associations, thereby training 600 farmer members, cooperative members and cooperative members on post-harvest processing techniques, preserving agricultural products and visiting, learning experiences and good agricultural practices.

From 2021 to present, the Association has supported 46 cooperatives and cooperative groups to bring production and business models in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fishery that meet food safety standards, VietGAP, GlobalGAP, OCOP, organic agricultural products, high-tech agriculture to participate in displaying products at festivals, fairs, markets, conferences inside and outside the province to support farmers in promoting trade, advertising, introducing and connecting output for products. At the same time, it has guided the construction of 11 locations for promoting, promoting trade, connecting and consuming products with about 220 typical agricultural products in localities.
In 2023, the Association built and launched the website chonongsandaklak.vn. Thereby attracting 254 units to participate in designing stores, promoting and introducing local agricultural products to consumers in, outside the province and abroad.
