Domestic pepper price today November 20, 2025

Specifically, Dak Lak pepper price was purchased at 146,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Chu Se pepper price (Gia Lai) was purchased at 145,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Dak Nong pepper price today was recorded at 146,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

In the Southeast region, pepper price in Ba Ria - Vung Tau is currently at 145,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday; in Binh Phuoc, pepper price today is at 145,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Pepper price today November 20, 2025 is stable, concerns about the quality of next crop pepper

Prolonged heavy rains in the Central Highlands region are causing widespread flooding and landslides, isolating many residential areas and causing accidents as people try to cross rushing water.

These extreme developments have raised concerns about the quality of pepper for the upcoming harvest, expected to start right after the Lunar New Year, when many pepper growing areas are at risk of being affected by floods.

World pepper prices today

Update on world pepper prices from the International Pepper Association (IPC), at the end of the most recent trading session, IPC listed the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper at 7,099 USD/ton (up 0.17%), and the price of Muntok white pepper at 9,666 USD/ton (up 0.18%).

Brazilian ASTA 570 black pepper price was at USD 6,175/ton. Malaysian ASTA black pepper price remained stable at USD 9,200/ton; the country’s ASTA white pepper price reached USD 12,300/ton.

Vietnam's black pepper price today is stable at a high level, trading at 6,400 USD/ton for 500 g/l; 550 g/l at 6,600 USD/ton; white pepper price at 9,050 USD/ton.

According to preliminary statistics of the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), in the first 15 days of November 2025, Vietnam exported 8,244 tons of pepper, reaching a turnover of 52.6 million USD. Among the exporting enterprises, Simexco Dak Lak led with 786 tons, accounting for 9.5% of the total volume; followed by Olam with 716 tons, Haprosimex JSC with 623 tons, and Phuc Sinh and Nedspice Vietnam with 605 and 488 tons, respectively.

The main import markets during the above period included the US with 1,888 tons, accounting for 22.9%; the UAE with 1,480 tons, accounting for 18%; and China with 495 tons, accounting for 6%.

Thanks to strong demand from major markets, from the beginning of the year to mid-November 2025, Vietnam's pepper exports reached 1.45 billion USD, exceeding the 1.3 billion USD of the whole year of 2024 and marking an important milestone for the pepper industry.

In terms of imports, Vietnam recorded 804 tons of pepper entering the domestic market in the first 15 days of November, equivalent to a turnover of 5.1 million USD. Haprosimex JSC and Vietnam Spices Company were the two main importers with 112 tons each. The largest suppliers to Vietnam during this period were Cambodia with 434 tons and Brazil with 224 tons.
