The pinnacle of amateur golf
The summer atmosphere on the Da Lat plateau is heating up as Dalat Palace Golf Club (Doi Cu) – a more than 100-year-old symbol of the foggy city – prepares to welcome the highest swings of the year.
The three biggest tournaments in the National Amateur Golf Championship System will simultaneously start here, creating an exciting race for young talents, as well as a journey to find prestigious gold tickets to the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.
The Vietnam Open Men's Amateur Championship (VAO 2025) and the Vietnam Open Women's Amateur Championship (VLAO 2025) will take place at the same time at Doi Cu Stadium from June 11 to 14.
Both VAO and VLAO 2025 will apply the individual stroke play format through 4 rounds of 18 holes, a total of 72 holes. After the first 36 holes, the tournament will apply a cut-off, retaining the 50 male athletes and 20 female athletes with the best results to continue competing for the championship.
About 120 male and 40 female athletes are expected to compete in these two tournaments. Regardless of nationality, the athlete with the best results will receive the prestigious championship trophy and a free ticket to the tournament next year.
Taking place immediately after from June 17 to 19, the playground for young talents, the 2025 National Youth Championship, will conclude the series of special golf festivals in the city of thousands of flowers.

Golden opportunity to SEA Games 33
The most special and anticipated point of this year's season is that VAO and VLAO 2025 will become the official selection round for the Vietnam Golf Team to participate in the 33rd SEA Games.
According to the announcement from the Vietnam Golf Association, the top 2 male and 2 female athletes at the tournament will win the first direct tickets to be included in the official squad to compete in Thailand at the end of the year.
In last year's tournament, Nguyen Anh Minh (VAO) and Doan Xuan Khue Minh (VLAO) won with convincing performances. Notably, Anh Minh won with a total score of (-22), a record for the tournament after 18 times of organization since 2005. Unfortunately, this year, the golfer born in 2007 will be absent to attend The Amateur Championship, the oldest and most prestigious amateur tournament in the world .
As the 33rd SEA Games approaches, fans are expecting to see more new faces emerge, carrying with them the courage and aspiration to compete for the Vietnamese flag.
