On August 19, Mr. Nguyen Minh Huy, Director of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Traffic and Agricultural Works in Da Nang, said that the City People's Committee has approved the investment in the Traffic Interchange Project between National Highway 14B and the Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway.
According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Huy, the Management Board is speeding up the progress of project investment documents and procedures, making the greatest effort to start construction of the Interchange between National Highway 14B and Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway in December 2025.
On August 18, Chairman of Da Nang City, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet signed Decision No. 1015/QD-UBND on approving the investment in the Traffic Interchange Project between National Highway 14B and Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway.
This intersection project has a total investment of more than 537.5 billion VND. Of which, the construction cost is more than 416 billion VND, the rest is other costs. The project implementation period is until 2028.

The project will invest in the construction and completion of a grade-separated interchange based on the principle of making maximum use of the already invested and constructed section of the Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway Project.
In particular, the construction of a bridge on National Highway 14B over the expressway, the first section of the bridge is invested in accordance with the scale of National Highway 14B being deployed; taking advantage of and expanding the existing bridge of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway at Km78+144.31.
At the same time, expand the Hoa Lien - Quang Ngai radial branch within the intersection to ensure connection of indirect left turns, synchronize the scale of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway under construction; take advantage of the invested part of the 4 direct right turns and continue to invest in completion according to the approved scale; build 4 indirect left turns.
In addition, 4 service roads will be built to serve the people; other technical infrastructure items will be built including: electricity, lighting, traffic lights, drainage, traffic organization, landscape at intersections, etc.
The project's objective is to complete the western gateway intersection of Da Nang city, ensuring safety and smooth traffic on the North-South expressway to the East through the city...
