Specifically, at 5:30 p.m. on April 15, 2025, on the Ka Long River (Mong Cai City), in the area opposite landmark 1368 (2), while guarding and controlling, the unit's officers discovered a Chinese citizen being swept away by the water. Immediately afterwards, the Station Command directed the unit's forces to the above location to organize rescue, rescue, and bring him safely to shore; at the same time, directed the unit's medical officers to conduct first aid measures and initial health checks.
After resuscitation measures were taken, the Chinese citizen's health has stabilized. Through investigation and verification, the Chinese citizen's name is Wang Ai Shen, born in 1988, in Nan Jin Village, Xin Xiang District, Hunan Province, China. While traveling in Dongxing, China, he accidentally dropped his personal bag into the border river (Ka Long River). Wang Ai Shen went into the river to find a way to retrieve the dropped bag. While trying to retrieve the bag, due to the rising and fast-flowing river water, Wang Ai Shen was swept away to the area opposite marker 1368 (2) and was rescued by officers of the Mong Cai International Border Guard Station and taken to the unit for health care.

The unit has communicated via hotline with Dong Hung Border Control Station to verify the identity of the above-named Chinese citizen and requested the Chinese side to receive him through Mong Cai International Border Gate.
At 8:40 p.m. the same day, Mong Cai International Border Guard Station and Dong Hung Border Inspection Station handed over and received Chinese citizens through Mong Cai International Border Gate.
