Handing over houses and giving gifts to poor households and students in difficult circumstances

HNN.VN - On the morning of May 9, the People's Committee of Phu Loc district coordinated with Song Hanh Advertising Investment Joint Stock Company to organize a ceremony to hand over 12 houses to households and give gifts to poor and near-poor households and students with difficult circumstances in the district.

Giving gifts to poor students overcoming difficulties

With financial support from Song Hanh Advertising Investment Joint Stock Company, the construction and repair of houses for 12 poor households, near-poor households, and households with housing difficulties in the district with a total amount of 680 million VND has been completed.

Households receiving support for house construction and repair are in the communes of Huong Huu, Thuong Long, Huong Son, Huong Phu and Khe Tre town. These are households facing many housing difficulties.

On this occasion, the District People's Committee and sponsors also presented gifts to 20 poor households and 10 poor students who overcame difficulties, each gift worth 1 million VND in cash and 300,000 VND in gifts.

The representative of the district People's Committee affirmed that, in addition to the efforts of the Party Committee, the government and the people in the area, the contributions of businesses and philanthropists inside and outside the district to support funding for building houses for policy families, poor households and households in difficult circumstances, demonstrate profound humanity, which is a fine tradition of the Vietnamese people. This noble gesture is a motivation for people to rise out of poverty and build a prosperous and happy life, while contributing to the good implementation of social security policies in the area.
