Commendation of advanced models in the Trade Union of Economic Zones and Industrial Zones of the city

Many ways to do

With the initiative to rearrange raw materials in the direction of combining stages, the female workers of HBI Hue Co., Ltd. have contributed to improving production efficiency. Instead of having to move many times to get individual materials for each step, with this initiative, workers only need to operate in a reasonably arranged area. This method helps shorten the process, increase productivity, reduce errors and improve coordination between departments. This is just one of the highlights of the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" at HBI Hue Co., Ltd.

Of the 318 excellent employees of the first quarter just recognized by the company, nearly 90% are female workers - those who achieved a labor productivity of nearly 180%. Not only competing in excellent production labor, the female workers of HBI Hue Company Limited also left their mark in raising healthy and well-behaved children. Thousands of families of female workers have children who have achieved the title of excellent students and are proud to receive scholarships awarded by the company.

Ms. Tran Thi My Ry, Head of the Women's Union of HBI Hue Co., Ltd., informed: The company currently has 5,800 employees, of which more than 80% are female. Therefore, the movement "Good at public work, good at home" is always focused on by the company's union. Under the pressure of progress, quality and long working hours during peak seasons, the spirit of competition has helped employees to be proactive and creative, thereby solving difficulties at work.

Meanwhile, the emulation movement at Son Ha Hue Company Limited has a strong cultural character. Here, the union identifies: Building a positive working environment is a prerequisite for increasing productivity and team cohesion. From the shock art troupe to internal sports competitions such as football, tug of war, badminton, from flower arrangement and cooking competitions to superior sports competitions, all activities aim to create a healthy playground, helping workers relieve pressure, increase solidarity and attachment to the company.

Ms. Lai Thi Tay Phuong, Chairwoman of the Son Ha Hue Company Limited Trade Union, shared: “When employees are cared for both physically and mentally, they will proactively contribute more and work better. At that time, competition does not need to be launched loudly, but they will motivate each other.” Reality has proven that the working environment at Son Ha Hue Company Limited is increasingly improved, the rate of resignation is reduced, and work efficiency is stable.

All about the workers

Not just slogans or dry numbers, the emulation movement in the Economic and Industrial Zone (EIZ) of Hue City is closely following reality every day, closely linked to the lives and interests of more than 27,000 union members at 44 affiliated grassroots unions.

From pilot models such as HBI Hue Co., Ltd., Son Ha Hue Co., Ltd., emulation has become a driving force to improve labor efficiency and a “lever” for practical care activities for workers. Each facility and each industry has its own way of doing things, but all are oriented towards workers.

Notably, the movement “Good workers - Creative workers” has seen more than 2,000 initiatives born in the past 5 years. These initiatives not only demonstrate the spirit of innovation and creativity but are also effectively applied by businesses in production practices, creating billions of dong in economic value. In addition to productivity, the union has also made a clear mark through specific tasks: From canteens, toilets to communal living areas, “green - clean - beautiful” models in the factory..., all contributing to building a more modern, safe and humane working environment.

Ms. Le Thi Thu Nam, Chairwoman of the Hue City Economic and Industrial Zone Trade Union, said: In the period of 2020 - 2025, more than 85,000 workers of the Economic and Industrial Zone Trade Union have benefited from support activities from the emulation movement, with a total value of billions of VND. The movement to build "Union Shelter" has also mobilized more than 500 million VND, thereby building and repairing dozens of houses for workers in difficult circumstances.

According to Ms. Le Thi Thu Nam, the emulation movement is becoming more and more substantial, workers are proactively participating because they see their rights, feel respected and recognized. “Emulation must essentially be a process of arousing the spirit of self-awareness and creativity. When the union knows how to discover, encourage and spread typical examples, workers will themselves become agents of change. In the coming time, we will strengthen the core role of grassroots unions in discovering and replicating good models and effective initiatives. At the same time, we will focus on communication work to spread inspirational stories, thereby arousing the spirit of voluntary emulation and creativity in each worker,” Ms. Nam emphasized.
