Hue City encourages tourism development to learn and experience Buddhist culture

Hue City encourages a number of businesses and individuals to invest in various types of tourism services in products to learn about and experience Buddhist culture.

Hue City People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 235/KH-UBND "Developing tourism to learn and experience Buddhist culture in Hue City" for the period 2025 - 2030.

Accordingly, the plan strives to achieve specific goals such as: Synthesizing, evaluating the potential and current status of exploiting spiritual tourism products in Hue City. Surveying products, evaluating tourism services associated with Buddhist facilities to propose solutions to meet the needs and tastes of tourists, creating conditions for tourism businesses to exploit this product in the area. Building and orienting a number of tourism programs to learn about and experience Buddhist culture in the area to put into use, develop harmoniously in a sustainable direction.

In addition, the city encourages a number of businesses and individuals to invest in various types of tourism services in this product. Synchronously implement many combined solutions. Training and developing human resources to serve at Buddhist facilities, tour guides and the community to improve services and perfect products in the future.

To achieve the above objectives, the plan also sets out key tasks including: Assessing the potential and current status of spiritual tourism development in Hue City; Supporting tourism businesses to survey, develop and form a number of products and programs for exploring and experiencing Buddhist culture in the area; Promoting training and coaching; Organizing conferences and seminars on developing tourism to explore and experience Buddhist culture in the area; Organizing vegetarian culinary events, etc.

In order to ensure effective implementation of the plan, the Hue City People's Committee also requires close coordination between the Department of Tourism and relevant departments, agencies, units, and tourism businesses in the area./.
