Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi passes away

According to medical sources, former Prime Minister Berlusconi was admitted to hospital on May 9 for a routine health check-up related to chronic leukemia.

In April, Mr. Berlusconi was hospitalized and treated in the intensive care unit for heart-related problems. The 86-year-old former Prime Minister has had a number of health problems in recent years.
