Accordingly, the Vingroup - Techtra Infrastructure Investment and Development Joint Stock Company consortium was selected as the investor to implement the project with a total investment of VND 19,965 billion. Of which, the investor's capital participating in the project is VND 12,134 billion (excluding loan interest of VND 989 billion) and the state capital participating in the project is VND 6,842 billion. The project preparation and implementation period is from 2025 to 2027; the project's payback period is a maximum of 29 years and 8 months.
Component 1 project has a total route length of about 124.13km. Of which, the section passing through Dak R'lap district (Dak Nong province) is about 23.1km long and Bu Dang district, Dong Phu, Dong Xoai city, Chon Thanh town ( Binh Phuoc province) is about 101.03km long.
According to Resolution No. 138/2024/QH15 dated June 28, 2024 of the National Assembly on the investment policy of the North-South Expressway Construction Investment Project, Western section, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc), the route has a scale of 6 lanes in the completed phase, with a roadbed width of 32.25m, the section through Dong Xoai city is 33m wide.
When completed, the project will connect the Central Highlands with the Southeast region, exploit land use potential, develop tourism, processing industry, mineral exploitation industry..., gradually restructure the economy of the Central Highlands, Southeast region and the country according to the resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party.
